Resolution RCS-138-2026 sets outthe homologation requirements for equipment operating under Standard Power conditions inthat band, while a companion resolution, RCS-137-2026, governs the AFC databaseadministrators that manage access to the band. Together, these rulings open the door foroutdoor, higher-power FWA deployments that were not viable under Costa Rica's earlier LowPower Indoor rules - clearing the regulatory path for Tarana to deploy its G1 platform todeliver broadband services of up to 1 Gbps across the country.
