About the job
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be physically able to perform prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, and squatting, occasionally climb ladders, frequently climb and descend stairs depending on location, and lift and carry 30 pounds regularly without assistance.
- Provide guests with exceptional service through relationship building, product knowledge sharing, and maintaining a clean, well-maintained store environment.
- Achieve individual sales associate goals that support store goals.
- Anticipate guest needs, exceed expectations, and adhere to service standards.
- Acknowledge, interact with, and build relationships with guests to create guest loyalty.
- Communicate with store management and guests.
- Act as a positive role model for fellow sales associates.
- Complete opening and closing procedures and sales associate tasks as directed by management with a guest focus.
- Locate merchandise effectively and maintain organization.
- Perform register transactions quickly and efficiently.
- Process transactions accurately, handle cash, and provide change without error.
- Adhere to loss prevention practices and report potential incidents to control shortages and protect company assets.
- Maintain a safe work environment and report potential hazards to leadership.
- Participate in and assist with store inventory preparation.
- Report to work as scheduled, record time worked accurately using the time and attendance system, and remain flexible to business needs.
- Assist in constructing merchandising and window displays.
- Maintain a clean and presentable store environment.
- Represent the brand by adhering to appropriate dress and grooming standards.
