Responsibilities
Ensure the provision of quality nursing service by assigned staff.
Provide ongoing direction, guidance, and evaluation of hospice nurses and ensure that professional standards are maintained.
Assess requests for hospice service and initiate measures to meet identified service needs.
Monitor patient vital signs, including body temperature, heart rate, respiration rate, and blood pressure.
Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to plan care.
Make frequent visits to patients to evaluate their condition.
Provide support and comfort according to individual patient needs.
Work with caregivers to plan and execute patient care.
Assist with administering medication.
Alleviate sudden symptoms of the disease's end phase.
Notify a doctor about a patient's condition when necessary.
Assist patients and their families with paperwork.
Maintain accurate records.
Help relatives cope with impending loss and provide post-mortem support.
Desired Qualifications
Certification as a hospice nurse.

Position Summary: In this Hospice role you are responsible for providing ongoing guidance and direction to the nursing team, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, for patients with life-limiting or terminal illnesses. Qualifications
