About the job
- Previous experience in data entry, finance, accounting, or finance administration.
- A good understanding of basic financial terminology.
- Strong data entry skills, numerical accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to handle confidential information.
- Accurately enter and maintain financial data, transactions, and records in the company’s systems.
- Input invoices, receipts, payment details, expenses, and other financial documents.
- Verify data and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date digital and physical financial records.
- Assist the Finance team with reconciliations and data verification when required.
- Identify and report discrepancies, missing information, or inconsistencies in financial records.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of finance-related reports and spreadsheets.
- Assist with document filing, tracking, and retrieval.
- Handle confidential financial information with discretion.
- Perform other finance-related administrative and data entry tasks as assigned.
- A Finance or Accounting background.
