Requirements
  • Experience in a ministry leadership position.
  • At minimum, a bachelor's degree in a ministry-related field.
  • Relevant experience with current technology and social media, including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, computer, phone, and tablet applications, and group texting.
  • A letter of endorsement from a current pastor, chaplain, or supervisor.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and out-processing of volunteers.
  • Define unique volunteer roles and maintain an updated roster.
  • Develop monthly and quarterly volunteer appreciation initiatives.
  • Establish daily operating procedures, including shift management.
  • Ensure facility security and cleanliness and implement key control measures.
  • Coordinate event marketing and maintain partnerships with base agencies.
  • Provide monthly participation reports and attend planning meetings.
  • Maintain professional relationships, uphold confidentiality, and demonstrate a positive attitude.
