Requirements
  • Bachelor degree or military experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in strategy, business development, underwriting, asset management, social impact investing or any combination of the five
Responsibilities
  • Lead across the organization, External Affairs, and the Enterprise to deepen community impact, including through new business initiatives, change management, and continuous well managed processes and controls
  • Support development & execution of strategic plan & vision, oversee the identification and execution of critical process improvements
  • Foster an environment that provides a balance between operational excellence with the need for impact, innovation, growth, customer retention and sustainability
  • Collaborate with business and other risk management teams to facilitate open dialogue around risk and continuous control environment enhancements in support of periodic assessments, business reviews and internal/external audits
  • Establish, promote and maintain appropriate application of all bank and line of business policies and procedures and support and drive adherence to regulatory compliance requirements
  • Encourage an atmosphere of urgency toward meeting customer’s needs and providing excellent customer service.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment by ensuring all team members are properly challenged and motivated, inspired and play an integral role in the team’s productivity through an effective and equitable allocation of assignments
  • Support associate development through activities including but not limited to ongoing mentoring, coaching; identification and delivery of cross-functional training opportunities; and career development planning
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of the bank, its customers, portfolio exposure, competitive environment, economic trends and policies; may include attending and participating in industry events, workshop, and conferences as appropriate
