Requirements
  • At least eight years of experience as a software architect in industry or technology consulting.
  • Spend at least 40 percent of your time actively developing code.
  • Have a passion for technology and keep up to date on the latest application development technologies and trends across all software development disciplines and processes.
  • Have a deep understanding of multiple technology development stacks across user experience, middle tier, and database platforms.
  • Be well-versed in different software development methodologies and understand the benefits and challenges of each.
  • Have experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Scala, .NET, Rust, client and server-side JavaScript (React, Angular, NodeJS), Python, Ruby.
  • Have experience with one or more of the following cloud platforms and container technologies: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless architectures such as AWS Lambda.
  • Have experience with one or more of the following DevOps and automation tools: CI/CD platforms (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform), cloud-native APIs, testing automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress), and data automation tools (e.g., Liquibase).
  • Incorporate usage of AI tooling efficiencies and code assistance tooling in everyday workflows.
  • Be accomplished at mentoring, leading, and developing others.
  • Currently lead teams that develop complex, high-volume, mission-critical enterprise solutions built from the ground up using a variety of technical components, deployed in a highly available environment.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage customers at a business level in addition to a technical level.
  • Can handle complex organizational dynamics to deliver a solution to a client’s satisfaction.
  • Drive business development and are comfortable with developing business cases and justifications that grow the customer relationship and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
  • Design, estimate, and execute technology implementation projects for clients; recommend suitable technological approaches, team structures, and skill sets to effectively capture and synthesize client requirements.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering their growth and ensuring high performance.
  • Support practice and company development through leading research and development initiatives, peer training, and creating reusable software development accelerators.
  • Ensure the quality and efficiency of technology implementation projects by applying Credera’s best practices and industry standards.
  • Lead one or more teams of skilled technologists and provide the necessary leadership, mentoring, and development to drive success.
  • Lead the design and build of advanced solutions involving agentic AI workflows, ML-powered decision engines, and custom chatbots on certain projects.
  • Tackle data challenges to drive business value, whether through traditional analytics or by preparing data for advanced AI/ML models.
  • Inform, refine, and execute a client’s vision.
