Requirements
  • Be in the final year of an engineering school or a specialized Master's program in Civil Engineering, Public Works, Underground Structures, or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Have good knowledge of civil engineering, including the design of civil engineering structures and particularly steel structures.
  • Have good written communication skills in French.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare calculation notes and participate in structural sizing.
  • Participate in design and feasibility studies.
  • Coordinate civil engineering works with all-trades or systems works.
  • Analyze technical and geotechnical data.
  • Participate in drafting technical documents and quantity takeoffs.
  • Participate in reviewing execution studies.
  • Participate in technical monitoring of construction works.
  • Participate in site meetings and draft meeting minutes.
  • Control the conformity of completed structures.
  • Monitor quality, cost, and schedule indicators.
  • Manage contracts.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of a second foreign language.
  • Curiosity and good interpersonal skills.

Lochner, an Egis Group company, has appointed Karen Wiemelt to its Board of Directors. Wiemelt brings over 35 years of leadership experience in the nuclear and energy sectors, with expertise in programme management, environmental remediation and strategic planning. Wiemelt previously served as Senior Vice President and General Manager at Jacobs, where she led the company's global Energy, Security and Technology business unit. In that role, she managed a portfolio exceeding $1.5 billion in annual revenue and over 8,000 employees worldwide. She has also served on numerous industry and corporate boards.
