Requirements
  • Rising senior in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, CIS, IT or related program by summer 2025 (Graduating December 2024 or May 2025)
  • Passion for technology and experience in one or more of the following: C#, Java, C++, Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to: Build strong partnerships with teammates, leaders, and client stakeholders; Present technical ideas and high-level concepts to internal and external team members
  • Open to giving and receiving feedback with a willingness to be challenged and learn new things
  • Ability to disconnect from work and have fun with colleagues (virtual and/or in-person)
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment from one of UDig’s major markets (Richmond, VA or Nashville, TN metro areas)
Responsibilities
  • Leverage your business acumen and technical skills to solution and build technical solutions that address client business challenges
  • Participate in project standups and backlog grooming as part of blended team working with other interns, clients, and/or UDig teammates
  • Collaborate with team members to design, code, test, and document software and data solutions
  • Plan and participate in project demos and client check-ins on active client projects and/or internal UDig projects
  • Be consultative by identifying risks and capability gaps, then offering solutions to address them
  • Network with experienced UDig Consultants and leadership (virtually and/or in-person)
