Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline and five years of relevant work experience; a Master's degree in one of these fields and three years of relevant work experience; or nine years of developer experience in a development environment such as Java/J2EE in lieu of a degree.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline and nine years of relevant work experience; a Master's degree in one of these fields and seven years of relevant work experience; or thirteen years of developer experience in a development environment such as Java/J2EE in lieu of a degree.
- Four to six years of experience with Java or J2EE.
- Two to four years of experience with JEE Security, Java Batch, or EJBRoles.
- Two years of experience with JPA/Hibernate.
- One year of experience with service-oriented architecture and web service technologies.
- Two years of experience using the Struts 2.0 framework.
- One year of experience writing complex SQL queries.
- One year of experience with HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS.
- Ability to contribute to design and architecture discussions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Visio.
- Development, design, and production support experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with relational database systems including PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, and DB2, along with writing complex SQL queries.
- Experience creating design and technical documentation.
- Experience with different application servers, preferably IBM WebSphere Application Server.
- Experience developing design patterns and Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and tools such as VersionOne, Rally, or JIRA.
- Proficiency in Extensible Markup Language (XML), Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio, and SharePoint.
