Responsibilities:

Develops and maintains successful relationships with business referral sources, including existing and prospective leads to achieve production/sales goals as established by direct manager and the company
Grows the branch through development of marketing initiatives for all loan officers and retains and expands the company’s base of customers
Develops loan officers through training in selling techniques, marketing ideas, lead generation, and closing mortgages
Meets with borrowers to obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions about the process
Analyzes borrowers’ financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans
Maintains current and thorough knowledge of all lending programs, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including company training, continuing education requirements, and federal and state regulations

Qualifications:

3+ years of Loan Officer experience
MLO License required
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and company-specific software
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
1+ years of experience managing a team

INDIAN LAND, S.C. - Movement Mortgage has announced that mortgage professional Brenna Carles and her team have joined the company, bringing specialized experience in financing short-term rentals, long-term rentals and vacation homes in the Smoky Mountains and other tourism-driven markets. "Brenna and her team understand the properties, borrowers and communities that make tourism-driven markets distinct," said Barb Courtney, Tennessee market leader at Movement Mortgage. "Their experience will strengthen the support we provide to loan officers and help Movement serve more families and real estate investors in these markets." Carles founded The Mortgage Shop in 2021 after building a mortgage career centered on rental-property financing and the needs of borrowers in vacation markets. DLST builds on Comunidad, the Spanish-language lending platform Movement launched in 2016.
