Requirements
- Kubernetes Certified Administrator certification or equivalent experience in production environments; Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist is an advantage.
- Knowledge of NVIDIA GPU-accelerated server platforms and NVIDIA AI software stack for GPU orchestration, including dependencies across the GPU-based cloud platform software stack.
- Knowledge of data engineering, data transformation, and data migration tools.
- Strong experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools, including Jenkins and GitLab, and GitOps practices.
- Proficiency with Helm charts and Kubernetes resource management.
- Scripting or programming skills in Python or Bash, and Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience with container images using Docker or Podman, and image scanning.
- Familiarity with object storage systems and persistent volume management.
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools, including Prometheus and Grafana.
- Understanding of running AI and high-performance computing workloads at scale.
- Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills in mission-critical environments.
Responsibilities
- Build, configure, and maintain bare-metal hosts and Kubernetes clusters for GPU and AI workloads.
- Design and operate the NVIDIA AI software stack, including Slurm and Run:ai.
- Provide customized application support for AI-related workloads.
- Manage Helm charts, GitOps workflows, Ansible scripts, possible Terraform code, and automation for deploying services and AI workloads.
- Serve as the primary contact for Kubernetes-related topics, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and scaling.
- Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab, and implement GitOps practices for consistent deployments and infrastructure changes.
- Operate and enhance Prometheus and Grafana monitoring stacks for bare-metal hosts, Kubernetes, and platform services.
- Build, optimize, and secure container images with Docker and Podman; manage registries and versioning, and perform image scanning with Trivy.
- Integrate and maintain object storage solutions for AI workloads.
- Support and operate distributed AI workloads within bare-metal hosts and Kubernetes environments.
- Coordinate with infrastructure engineers, data center staff, and AI developers to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Follow incident, problem, and change management workflows; create and maintain operational runbooks; and adhere to zero-outage guidelines.
