Requirements
  • A High School Diploma and 3+ years of relevant experience are required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret test procedures and technical documents.
  • Physical ability to lift, rack, and stack equipment following one-person, two-person, and lifting-device safety recommendations.
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills in software loading, hardware, or network issues.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, and facility managers on material availability, production schedules, delivery need dates, and steps throughout the production process.
  • Aid with production planning for multiple system designs.
  • Build and integrate electronic equipment.
  • Complete production checklists and acceptance test procedures in coordination with quality assurance.
  • Identify and help resolve problems with production goods.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical hardware and software issues in coordination with the engineering team as needed.
  • Escalate hardware/software issues or system outages to leadership immediately.
  • Administratively track production tasks and assets in the ticketing system for proper documentation.
  • Manage and log hardware and software configuration.
  • Document production data and maintain accurate records.
  • Complete test reports and prepare systems for delivery.
  • Operate and monitor test equipment and verify that calibrations are current to ensure data integrity.
  • Inspect intermediate and finished products for quality assurance, quality control, and adherence to specifications.
  • Assist the logistics team with teardown, packing, and shipping of systems.
  • Manage time to support delivery need dates.
  • Collaborate with production team members to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance checks and services.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Assist with setup and calibration of test equipment for new production runs.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Basic understanding of production processes and radio-frequency test equipment.
  • Functional knowledge of ground systems capable of transmitting and receiving radio-frequency emissions.
  • Technical certification or training in a related field.
  • Experience working with ground terminal equipment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts and weekends if necessary.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in software loading, hardware, and network issues.
