- Board certified or board eligible in Surgery.
- An active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. state, territory, commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications.

- Ability to pass a federal background investigation.

- Provide vascular surgery care, including clinic coverage, surgical coverage, 24/7 on-call coverage including weekdays, weekends, and holidays, remote and onsite consultations, and rounding related to patient care.
- Complete patient care documentation, including pre-operative notes, operative reports, post-operative reports, and outpatient clinic notes.
- Provide all vascular surgical services under attending supervision as determined by Veterans Affairs guidelines.
- Follow all established medication policies and procedures.
- Provide discharge education and follow-up instructions coordinated with the next care setting for neurosurgery clinical or surgical patients.
