Associate Attorney - Real Estate Litigation

About the job
- Juris Doctorate from an American Bar Association-accredited law school.
- Three or more years of litigation experience, preferably involving real estate matters.
- Ability to independently manage matters from inception through conclusion.
- Admission to the New York State Bar; federal court admission is preferred.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and advocacy abilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Sound judgment, initiative, and commitment to excellent client service.
- Handle real estate litigation matters, including commercial and residential property disputes, contract disputes, easement and boundary issues, landlord-tenant litigation, title disputes and quiet title actions, construction-related litigation, and foreclosure and creditor matters.
- Develop and execute case strategy in collaboration with senior attorneys.
- Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and discovery documents.
- Manage all aspects of discovery, including electronic discovery.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences in New York State and federal courts.
- Counsel clients through complex legal and business issues.
- Build and maintain client relationships.
- Work collaboratively across multiple practice areas to provide comprehensive solutions.
- Experience involving real estate litigation.
- Federal court admission.
