Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point person for the Foote Fellows Honors Program within the Office of Academic Enhancement.
  • Collaborate with Cane Navigators, Transitional Advisors, and school and college administrators to ensure enhanced support, access, and programming for Foote Fellows.
  • Collaborate with school and college leadership to build cohesion and a community of shared ideas to strengthen the Foote Fellows program across the university.
  • Coordinate supplemental support for the broader Foote Fellows population, including one-on-one meetings and small-group sessions, with the Office of Academic Enhancement's Premier Scholar Initiatives unit.
  • Promote the curricular freedom afforded by the Foote Fellows program to help students identify novel ways to connect their interests and goals in their degree plans.
  • Design and implement educational programs and events that enhance students' experiences and develop community, including retreats, dinners, lectures, and workshops related to career development, studying abroad, prestigious awards and fellowships, and other enriching programs.
  • Identify opportunities to develop and promote course offerings exclusive to or prioritized for Foote Fellows.
  • Collaborate with the Office of Admissions on selecting and recruiting Foote Fellows.
  • Coordinate with student affairs units and other campus areas to support retention and facilitate connections to opportunities.
  • Draft, edit, and audit email, website, and social media communications about the Foote Fellows program with relevant campus offices.
  • Manage the Foote Fellows operational budget with the Office of Academic Enhancement office manager and executive director.
  • Prepare and analyze data on Foote Fellows' academic performance and engagement.
  • Identify and promote compelling stories about the Foote Fellows program or population when appropriate.
  • Conduct research and benchmarking and prepare information to help leadership make decisions about new initiatives and investments in the Foote Fellows program.
  • Assist with Office of Academic Enhancement events and programs, including the end-of-year celebration and large-scale events serving broader populations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the executive director and/or Dean of Undergraduate Affairs.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree is preferred.
