Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in tools like RCA, SPC, FMEA, DOE, and Fishbone Analysis
  • Exceptional leadership and mentoring capabilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Willingness to travel, work extended hours, and support 24/7 factory operations
Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced manufacturing equipment and processes
  • Take ownership of troubleshooting and resolving the most complex equipment issues, ensuring minimal disruption to production
  • Develop and oversee the execution of strategies for preventive and predictive maintenance, ensuring maximum equipment uptime
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to lead large-scale equipment projects, including upgrades, installations, and process improvements
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for solar cell production technologies and equipment optimization
  • Analyze complex equipment performance data, identify trends, and implement innovative solutions for continuous improvement
  • Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and learning
  • Drive safety improvements and ensure all equipment operations comply with regulatory standards
  • Present detailed reports and recommendations on equipment performance, maintenance strategies, and project outcomes to senior leadership
  • Support 24/7 operations by addressing critical equipment challenges and providing leadership during tool recovery efforts
