Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in a high-technology environment.
  • Ability to quickly analyze complex systems combining hardware and software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and business acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to work amid ambiguity and make informed decisions.
  • Customer-oriented approach and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of flight simulators and/or aircraft is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Defense and Security products and services is preferred.
  • Experience preparing proposals of comparable complexity is preferred.
  • Ability to innovate and propose approaches tailored to customer needs is preferred.
  • Oral and written communication skills in French and English are preferred; English proficiency is required for international meetings and projects and interactions with colleagues or customers in other provinces or countries.
Responsibilities
  • Participate in the bid team responsible for coordinating, executing, managing, and delivering proposals.
  • Ensure bids align with defined winning themes.
  • Identify organizational differentiators that can increase the probability of success.
  • Analyze requests for proposal and information and other solicitation documents to understand requirements, identify customer needs, and translate them into bid strategy and content.
  • Define bid strategies that meet customer requirements cost-effectively by leveraging key technologies and commercial off-the-shelf products.
  • Lead proposal development and present reviews to management.
  • Produce high-quality proposals on schedule while ensuring content reuse and consistency.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Project Management, and technical functions to prepare and validate proposals.
  • Prepare estimation bases and comparisons to support cost analysis and justification.
  • Identify, quantify, and track program risks and recommend mitigation measures.
  • Develop program schedules in collaboration with program management.
  • Negotiate and validate the allocation of work among international sites.
  • Interact with customers as needed.
  • Contribute to growth and continuous improvement initiatives.
