ABOUT THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a mid-level Systems Engineer to support our Coast Guard team in Dahlgren, VA. Dahlgren is located near Fredericksburg, VA and between Washington, DC and Richmond, VA. You’ll be supporting The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) V20 program on a United States Coast Guard (USCG) task. This is a great opportunity for veterans transitioning to civilian life or seasoned professionals looking to use their talent and expertise in support of the U.S. Coast Guard.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a United States citizen capable of holding a Secret level DOD security clearance
- At least 6 months of prior service on a National Security Cutter (NSC); or any Coastguardsmen or civilians who have worked at the CGSAIL lab in Moorestown, NJ; or prior Operations Specialist (OS) or Fire Controlman (FC)
PREFERENCES:

- Experience in applying system engineering processes
- This position involves communication with senior level TSC employees as well as tenured government employees, so strong written and verbal communication skills are extremely helpful
