Requirements
  • Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.
  • At least 2 years of experience working and/or coaching in a virtual environment.
  • At least 2 years of talent sourcing and recruiting experience, ideally for a virtual workforce.
  • At least 2 years of experience in organizational leadership.
  • At least 2 years of executive assistance, client support, or related experience.
  • Familiarity with recruiting and onboarding both employees and independent contractors.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems such as JazzHR and BambooHR.
  • Experience with course and document creation programs such as Teachable and Canva.
  • Experience with virtual technology such as Calendly, Slack, Zoom, Monday.com, Airtable, Dropbox, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.
  • An open, collaborative work style and commitment to completing the work.
  • Ability to consider situations from several points of view.
Responsibilities
  • Understand the independent contractor hiring process, including 1099 compliance parameters.
  • Project upcoming contractor staffing needs and create and execute recruiting plans using innovative techniques to identify, headhunt, and attract talent for contractor, temp-to-hire, and retained recruitment roles.
  • Create and maintain accurate job postings across multiple job listing sites and provide insight on effective sites and potential new services.
  • Oversee the hiring process for viable candidates, including reviewing applications, communicating sample project details, scoring project submissions, scheduling and conducting interviews, conducting background checks, facilitating assessments, and drafting and sending offer letters.
  • Complete administrative support, paperwork, onboarding, and offboarding steps for contractors.
  • Serve as the point of contact for contractors regarding company questions, notices, and updates.
  • Pair contractors with new and transitioned clients based on contractor skill sets and client service needs and preferences.
  • Prepare contractors for client relationships and follow up to deliver feedback and address questions or concerns.
  • Provide positive and constructive feedback to contractors and help create and implement action plans.
  • Generate daily Slack engagement and lead community-building activities and events.
  • Plan and lead monthly team huddles with the core team and contractors.
  • Plan and execute surveys, security screenings, professional development processes, awards, and incentives for contractors.
  • Represent and reinforce the company’s culture and values.
  • Maintain historical human resources records.
  • Attend regular core team meetings held weekly, monthly, quarterly, and as needed.
  • Provide quarterly expertise and feedback on strategies to streamline hiring and support long-term candidate engagement.
  • Work with the core team to design and develop programs, communications, events, and workshops for leaders, managers, and contractors that reinforce company values and culture.
