Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • One year of experience as a journeyman carpenter is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
Responsibilities
  • Perform carpenter duties under the supervision of the Building Trades Supervisor.
  • Carry out maintenance and repair tasks in compliance with Federal, State, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration laws, rules, and regulations, and in accordance with UW Health policies and procedures.
  • Perform remodeling and workshop projects in accordance with blueprints, drawings or sketches, schematics, and written specifications.
Desired Qualifications
  • A four-year carpenter apprenticeship is preferred.
  • Carpenter Journey Worker certification or the ability to certify equivalency of required hours for Carpenter Journey Worker is preferred.
