Requirements
  • An Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field, or three years of directly related full-time experience in lieu of the degree.
  • Two years of experience in the financial services industry performing teller duties.
  • Two years of customer service experience.
  • Ability to work accurately within established banking guidelines and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate company policies, programs, and systems to customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers, managers, and team members in a fast-paced branch environment.
Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance across assigned branch operations, including teller, new accounts, vault teller, safe deposit, and lending functions.
  • Assist customers in selecting accounts, products, and financial services available from the Bank.
  • Present cross-sell opportunities using professional sales techniques.
  • Receive and process retail and commercial checking and savings deposits in accordance with banking policies and procedures.
  • Assist with opening and closing the vault and provide dual control when verifying cash and coin transactions.
  • Assist in balancing vault currency and coin.
  • Order, manage, and balance vault and ATM currency and coin as assigned.
  • Make decisions regarding the opening of new deposit accounts.
  • Complete documents requiring customer signatures and accept initial deposits.
  • Prepare documents and items pertaining to new accounts for processing.
  • Determine funds availability and obtain receipts for customers.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
