Requirements
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in cloud architecture, technology consulting, platform engineering, systems integration, or transformation delivery, including 8 years in hands-on AWS migration, modernization, architecture, engineering, or operations.
  • At least 5 years leading and scaling a migration, modernization, cloud platform, application transformation, or infrastructure practice, including teams of 25–50 professionals.
  • Accountability for $50M–$100M in annual AWS migration, modernization, managed-services, or technology-enabled bookings and revenue, with the ability to create or influence $100M–$200M in qualified annual pipeline.
  • Experience solutioning, governing, or delivering at least 15 AWS migration or modernization engagements, including senior technical sponsorship for at least 5 strategic customer accounts or transformation programs.
  • At least 5 years of expertise in AWS migration and modernization architecture, including landing zones, networking, security, resilience, DevOps, containers, serverless, databases, storage, observability, and FinOps.
  • At least 5 years leading complex pursuits and executive workshops, translating business outcomes into migration waves, modernization roadmaps, commercial models, and risk-controlled delivery plans.
  • At least 5 years of experience communicating at executive level and establishing field CTO credibility with CIO, CTO, CISO, engineering, operations, and finance leaders.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience of at least 12 years; candidates with an Associate’s Degree must have at least 6 years of work experience.
  • Ability to travel 25%–100%, depending on business need and client requirements.
  • Experience leading technical governance for 10 or more large-scale cloud programs, including architecture quality, cutover readiness, risk mitigation, delivery assurance, and executive alignment.

  • Experience establishing reusable migration playbooks, reference architectures, automation templates, modernization patterns, or managed-services runbooks.

  • Familiarity with AWS partner programs, ACE, AWS Marketplace, funding mechanisms, competencies, migration incentives, and packaged or outcome-based commercial models.
Responsibilities
  • Define the migration and modernization strategy, services portfolio, investment priorities, operating model, delivery capacity, and growth roadmap for the practice.
  • Lead offerings across discovery and assessment, migration planning, landing zones, VMware and data center exits, application and database migration, replatforming, refactoring, containers, serverless, DevOps, resilience, security, FinOps, and managed-services transition.
  • Own annual practice bookings and revenue, partner with sales leaders and AWS field teams to originate and qualify opportunities, shape value propositions, and convert workshops and assessments into pipeline.
  • Act as senior technical and commercial sponsor for priority deals, owning discovery, solution differentiation, estimation, risk, executive presentations, proposal quality, and technical close.
  • Create packaged solutions for AWS sellers, support ACE opportunity progression, use applicable funding and incentives, and develop AWS Marketplace-ready offers with clear scope, price, outcomes, and procurement paths.
  • Create account-based campaigns, executive briefings, immersion days, workshops, assessments, and industry-specific sales plays focused on migration, modernization, secure cloud foundations, optimization, and managed services.
  • Develop differentiated perspectives on migrate-first strategies, continuous modernization, legacy and VMware transformation, cloud economics, AI-assisted modernization, and operating-model change for mid-market customers.
  • Publish articles and research-backed perspectives; speak at customer, analyst, industry, and AWS events; lead webinars and roundtables; and build relationships with technology, infrastructure, application, and operations executives.
  • Capture customer references, case studies, quantified benefits, patterns, and lessons learned to improve credibility, cross-sell, repeatability, and win rates.
  • Lead executive technology discussions, architecture workshops, modernization roadmaps, and technical decision-making for priority customers and strategic pursuits.
  • Establish repeatable assessment, wave-planning, automation, cutover, testing, validation, and post-migration optimization methods.
  • Set scope, architecture, staffing, pricing assumptions, acceptance criteria, dependencies, risks, and measurable outcomes before delivery handoff.
  • Build capability frameworks, certification paths, communities of practice, and mentoring models for architects, engineers, and delivery leads.
  • Establish architecture reviews, AWS Well-Architected discipline, security-by-design, delivery assurance, escalation, and technical debt management.
  • Convert successful programs into packaged offerings, reference architectures, automation, playbooks, templates, and managed-services runbooks.
  • Own annual bookings and revenue attainment and track pipeline, conversion, win rate, Marketplace activity, utilization, margin, delivery productivity, solution reuse, customer references, thought-leadership reach, certification progress, customer satisfaction, and offering adoption.
  • Launch at least 4–6 repeatable migration and modernization offerings, reference architectures, or accelerators within the first 12 months.
  • Support $50M–$100M in annual AWS migration, modernization, and managed-services bookings or delivery portfolio.
  • Create or influence $100M–$200M in annual qualified pipeline while supporting a qualified-pursuit win rate of at least 30%–35%.
  • Launch at least 3 repeatable sales plays and progress at least 20 AWS co-sell, ACE, Marketplace, or partner-referred opportunities annually.
  • Deliver at least 8 executive workshops, customer roundtables, or industry briefings annually that generate qualified follow-on opportunities.
  • Publish or present at least 4 significant thought-leadership assets annually and secure at least 2 new customer references or case studies.
  • Maintain at least 95% milestone attainment, customer satisfaction of at least 4.5/5, and critical escalations below 5% of active engagements.
  • Improve estimation accuracy, migration velocity, automation, solution reuse, and transition quality from sales to delivery.
  • Grow AWS-certified migration and modernization talent by at least 25% year over year or create at least 25 new certifications annually.
  • Serve as a recognized technical and market leader in at least 5 priority accounts or strategic deals annually.

Accenture surges 17% on Q4 beat with $18.7B revenue, but analyst warns stock fully priced at 15x forward earnings

Accenture shares surged 17% on Thursday after reporting strong fourth-quarter results. The company posted revenue of $18.7 billion, up 6% year-over-year, while earnings per share jumped 46% to $3.29. Management's full-year revenue growth forecast of 4.5% exceeded analyst expectations of 4%. Net bookings rose 4% to $22.2 billion. The company plans to return at least $9.5 billion to shareholders this financial year. However, TD Cowen analyst Bryan Bergin maintained a hold rating, citing concerns that the stock is fully priced at 15 times forward earnings. He cautioned that one strong quarter may represent a cyclical bounce rather than structural growth acceleration. Despite this, Wall Street remains optimistic, with a "moderate buy" consensus rating. Accenture soars 20% on upbeat fiscal 2027 forecast, lifting IBM and Cognizant

Accenture shares surged 20% Thursday after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter results and issued its fiscal 2027 outlook. Quarterly revenue rose 6% year-over-year to $18.7 billion, whilst GAAP diluted earnings increased 46% to $3.29 per share. New bookings reached $22.2 billion. For fiscal 2027, Accenture projects revenue growth of 3% to 6% in local currency, exceeding the 3.9% analyst consensus. The company expects GAAP diluted earnings of $14.39 to $14.81 per share and an operating margin of 15.9% to 16.1%. The positive forecast boosted competitors' shares. Cognizant Technology Solutions climbed 10%, Infosys gained 8%, and IBM rose 5% in morning trading. Accenture generated $2.8 billion in free cash flow during the quarter and returned $11.5 billion to shareholders in fiscal 2026.

Accenture partners with AWS to deliver cloud and AI tools for mid-sized companies

Accenture has announced a new collaboration with Amazon Web Services to deliver cloud and AI offerings specifically for mid-sized companies generating between $300 million and $3 billion in annual revenue. The technology bundle, available through AWS Marketplace, includes tools for virtual machine migration, cloud spending optimisation, security strengthening, and AI system risk testing. The offerings fall under Accenture Edge, a dedicated business unit serving mid-market clients. The collaboration also provides conversational AI, virtual agents, and customer service technology. 407 ETR, a Toronto-area electronic toll highway operator, is cited as an early customer. Accenture shares rose 1.6% in premarket trading following the announcement. The stock currently trades around $180, having rebounded more than 50% from June lows but remaining well below its 52-week high of $291.09.
