Requirements
  • A high school diploma, General Educational Development credential, or suitable equivalent is required.
  • At least one year of experience in picking and packing is required.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills are required.
  • The ability to work harmoniously with a diverse range of people is required.
  • Proficiency with the tools required for the position is required.
  • Physical agility and dexterity are required.
  • Proficient organizational skills are required.
  • The ability to fulfill customer orders accurately and in a timely manner is required.

  • The employee must be able to use a computer, office phone, printer, scanner, copy machine, tape gun, label gun, bag sealer, cart, and dolly.
  • The employee must be able to stand for at least eight hours per day; reach, bend, twist, squat, lift and carry up to 25 pounds; load and push boxes on a cart or dolly; read, listen, speak, type; and move throughout the facility.
  • The employee must be capable of operating computer equipment and using a keyboard and mouse or mouse pad.
Responsibilities
  • Assemble boxes.
  • Bundle products into packs.
  • Pull and pack products based on daily orders.
  • Verify quantities and item codes before shipment.
  • Generate shipping labels using software.
  • Ensure correct shipping information is inserted or attached.
  • Seal and tag containers, confirm order accuracy, and sign pick tickets.
  • Move completed orders to the shipping area.
  • Receive incoming freight and store materials in appropriate areas.
  • Operate a handcart or pallet jack to load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the facility.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and assist with continuous improvement.
  • Follow good manufacturing practices and required work-safety practices.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
  • Assist with replenishing stock, taking inventory, and reporting shortages.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Wound care leader Gentell expands US nursing home market share by 12% with ISG acquisition

Gentell, the largest vertically integrated wound care company, has acquired Innovative Supply Group (ISG), a leading Medicare Part B supplier of medical tube devices to North American nursing homes. Financial terms were not disclosed. ISG will operate as Gentell Nutritional Services, with Michael Lebovics, formerly ISG's president, leading the division. Gentell currently serves over 30% of the estimated 15,000 US nursing homes with wound care supplies. The acquisition is expected to expand its market share by approximately 12%. This marks Gentell's third acquisition in 12 months, following purchases of New Zealand-based Manukamed and Paraguay-Brazil manufacturer Casex. The company now operates manufacturing facilities across five continents and has increasingly focused on linking nutrition to wound care for improved healing outcomes.
