Intermediate to expert-level experience with Solr or Elasticsearch, including at least 3 years of experience.
Experience performing schema updates.
Significant knowledge and experience submitting Lucene queries.
Significant knowledge and experience understanding how Solr or Elasticsearch shards work.
Significant experience tuning Solr or Elasticsearch for performance and query optimization.
At least 3 years of experience in a big data environment using at least two of Hadoop, PySpark, Spark, and HBase.
At least 5 years of hands-on backend Java development experience implementing code that undergoes code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and production deployment.
A college degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical degree.
U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with Full Scope Polygraph are required; candidates who do not currently hold these credentials will not be considered.
