Requirements
  • A current driver's license is required.
  • The driving record must be acceptable to the current insurance carrier.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based computer software and automotive store applications is required.
  • Experience in an automotive customer service role or an automotive service writer, advisor, or sales role is required.
  • The employee must be dependable and reliable for a schedule running Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • The employee must be able to remain on their feet for most of the workday, including standing, walking, and coordinating parts.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and carry objects weighing more than 50 pounds.
  • The employee must maintain a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment.
Responsibilities
  • Greet every customer who enters the facility with hospitality and respect.
  • Present the best solution for properly repairing the customer's vehicle in a way that is easy to understand.
  • Manage the store's workflow effectively and efficiently.
  • Sell services consistently and effectively without compromising honesty and integrity.
  • Communicate by phone in a clear and professional manner.
  • Build long-term relationships among the store, the employee, and the customer.
  • Direct, coordinate, and participate in customer service activities.
  • Shuttle customers as needed in a Christian Brothers Automotive-branded vehicle.
  • Ensure that all repairs are performed to proper specifications.
  • Work as part of a team and assist other employees as needed.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
