About the job
- A current driver's license is required.
- The driving record must be acceptable to the current insurance carrier.
- Proficiency in Windows-based computer software and automotive store applications is required.
- Experience in an automotive customer service role or an automotive service writer, advisor, or sales role is required.
- The employee must be dependable and reliable for a schedule running Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- The employee must be able to remain on their feet for most of the workday, including standing, walking, and coordinating parts.
- The employee must occasionally lift and carry objects weighing more than 50 pounds.
- The employee must maintain a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment.
- Greet every customer who enters the facility with hospitality and respect.
- Present the best solution for properly repairing the customer's vehicle in a way that is easy to understand.
- Manage the store's workflow effectively and efficiently.
- Sell services consistently and effectively without compromising honesty and integrity.
- Communicate by phone in a clear and professional manner.
- Build long-term relationships among the store, the employee, and the customer.
- Direct, coordinate, and participate in customer service activities.
- Shuttle customers as needed in a Christian Brothers Automotive-branded vehicle.
- Ensure that all repairs are performed to proper specifications.
- Work as part of a team and assist other employees as needed.
- Perform other assigned duties.
