Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Search engine optimization (SEO) programs and best practices
  • Experience with hypotheses-driven A/B testing, experiment design, and basic statistical analysis
  • Ability to partner with the design and website team to create experiences that are positive for the brand, delightful for the user, and impactful for the business key performance indicators
  • Have a data-driven mindset and be comfortable using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Mode, and Excel to synthesize data sets, identify opportunities, monitor performance, and report on progress
  • Deep experience developing holistic customer-centric customer acquisition marketing strategies from scratch
  • 3-5 years managing a company's organic search strategy or in tandem with a vendor
  • Experience building acquisition and growth strategies in both freemium/self-serve and sales-driven environments
  • Deep understanding of the full range of marketing tactics and emerging marketing trends
  • Experience managing teams and fostering career growth
Responsibilities
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our potential customer's pain points and opportunities with video in order to develop marketing campaigns that resonate with our ideal customers
  • Be the marketing team's point person for all self-serve related activities helping our org work in tandem to forecast lead volume, and a world class experience for people considering Wistia's offering
  • Drive the strategy, day-to-day management, and optimization of our SEO roadmap in partnership with our website team and agencies
  • Help our content and creative teams conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, content brief creation, and organic performance tracking
  • Report on the ROI related to all SEO activities, including copywriting, agency support, and any other work required to meet SEO objectives
  • Use web traffic, site engagement data, and in-product metrics to prioritize self-serve opportunities and report on the business impact of your optimization efforts
  • Co-create and execute on our CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) roadmap with your counterparts in Brand Marketing, Growth PDE, and Analytics
  • Be a marketing leader at Wistia. Collaborate closely with other marketing teams. Be a part of an elite, creatively-driven marketing organization that other companies look to for inspiration and guidance
  • Develop, execute, manage and measure small business demand generation strategies and programs that help our GTM teams hit their goals
