About the job

Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT or systems administration, including identity- or security-adjacent work.
  • Hands-on Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration experience.
  • Experience reconciling identity data across multiple systems, including HRIS, contractor platforms, and directory services, to close access and offboarding gaps.
  • Familiarity with SOC, EDR, and SIEM concepts and vendor management, even without day-to-day hands-on operation of these tools.
  • Experience building documentation, runbooks, or operational processes from scratch.
  • Experience partnering with non-IT stakeholders and business functions.
Responsibilities
  • Own Entra ID, single sign-on, and access governance end to end.
  • Lead reconciliation of employee, contractor, and service accounts across Entra ID, the HRIS, and contractor platform, closing gaps involving stale, orphaned, or unauthorized access.
  • Build and maintain the identity and access inventory covering systems, owners, user and administrator counts, and SSO, MFA, and SCIM coverage, and run quarterly access reviews.
  • Own the privileged-access review process for administrator roles, taking it in-house from the outsourced provider.
  • Publish and enforce an SSO and MFA coverage standard across critical business applications.
  • Select and roll out an Identity Governance and Administration tool.
  • Transition outsourced SOC coverage, including managed EDR, ITDR, and SIEM, into an internally owned security operations capability. CrowdStrike Falcon is the confirmed EDR platform, and deployment and logging rollout are in progress; the outsourced provider currently holds Global Admin access.
  • Partner with the Security team and Head of IT on tool selection and maintaining coverage during the transition.
  • Provide input with Security and Legal on core IT policies for acceptable use, access control, device management, vendor review, and incident response.
  • Own the evidence tracker mapping IT-owned controls to system owners to support SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR audit readiness.
  • Partner with Security and Legal on due diligence for new vendors and AI tools, from intake and security review through contract.
  • Contribute to formalizing the IT operating model, RACI, and escalation paths.
  • Build runbooks, documentation, and the escalation model for the team as the outsourced provider steps back.
  • Rebuild institutional knowledge currently held outside the company.
  • Act as IT's standing partner to each business function, proactively improving how teams work with technology rather than only closing tickets.
  • Provide hands-on support alongside teams rather than working only from a ticket queue.
  • Own the transition's core tool stack with the Head of IT: MDM, Freshdesk, remote access/RMM, and 1Password.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience establishing an internal IT function previously run by an outsourced MSP.
  • Experience selecting or implementing an Identity Governance and Administration tool.
  • Experience scaling IT for a company growing from a few hundred to more than 700 employees.
  • Scripting or automation experience with PowerShell or Python to reduce manual IT work.
  • CISSP, CISM, Security+, or an identity-platform certification such as Microsoft Entra, Okta, or SailPoint.
  • Experience supporting SOC 2, ISO 27001, or GDPR audit cycles, including evidence collection and control ownership.

About the company

Future Secure AI builds persona-based, multi-agent AI Co-Workers designed for large enterprises and private equity firms. Their core offering, Red-Zone AI Co-Workers, consists of over 100 agent personas that automate complex, high-stakes workflows. The agents integrate with a client’s core systems and governance frameworks and operate securely on the client’s network, remaining cloud- and LLM-agnostic to avoid vendor lock-in. Workflows run within a hybrid team, with AI Co-Workers reporting to human managers and maintaining human-in-the-loop oversight. The company differentiates itself by targeting mission-critical environments with on-premise deployment, strong governance, and integration into existing IT and security controls, rather than generic AI tools. Their stated goal is to deliver 10x to 20x ROI on operating costs, often paying for themselves within six months. Clients span infrastructure, services, finance, health, and connected economies.
