Requirements
  • Current enrollment in good standing at an accredited college or university while pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills for working in a test and evaluation team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Demonstrated ability to use common laboratory equipment and tools.
  • Proficiency in data entry and basic data analysis.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret or higher security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds may be required.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and acceptable reference and background check results.
Responsibilities
  • Work directly with Government personnel to meet the technical needs of the project.
  • Work closely with Data Acquisition and Analysis engineers on tasks ranging from administrative support to hands-on involvement in project planning and execution.
  • Assist Data Acquisition and Analysis engineers in designing, testing, and maintaining systems and equipment.
  • Collect and analyze data and prepare reports and presentations.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and perform tests as directed.
  • Organize and maintain engineering documents and records.
  • Provide technical support to other departments as required.
  • Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
  • Provide general administrative support to the engineering team as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in a laboratory field-test environment or with the concepts of test and evaluation.
  • Familiarity with engineering standards and tools.
