Requirements
  • Excellent English verbal & written communication skills
  • Able to follow complex and detailed technical documents with attention to procedure
  • Disciplined work ethic displaying initiative & requiring minimal supervision
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude
  • Understanding of electronic component assembly and wiring
  • Experience with evolving production processes, improvements and implementations
  • Able to work under pressure, with tight deadlines, and changing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • 3-5 years' experience in small batch electronics and equipment manufacturing
  • Electronic Technologist diploma
  • Mechanical and/or Electronics background an asset
Responsibilities
  • Complete electro-mechanical assemblies through in-house training and assembly documentation
  • Maintain & update production related documents with accuracy and effectiveness
  • Able to troubleshoot electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Ability to use test equipment such as multimeter, wave generators, oscilloscope, etc
  • Proficient in hand soldering PCB and wiring assemblies
  • Test products as required
  • Ability to use hand and power tools
  • Perform repetitive tasks
  • Cable and harness assembly
  • General shop tasks
