Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Manage team engagement and performance by monitoring retention, open positions, work schedules, and engagement metrics; provide feedback, celebrate successes, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Implement and enforce safety policies, training, procedures, and regulations in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards.
  • Coach and mentor team members to improve safety awareness and driving skills.
  • Oversee fleet performance and maintenance, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintenance-provider relationships, fleet downtime, vehicle uptime, and preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure adherence to Department of Transportation regulations, including hours of service and driver qualifications.
  • Review compliance metrics and coach drivers using Samsara.
  • Oversee installation of the Oil Management system at customer sites and monitor equipment-related key performance indicators.
  • Oversee the performance and functionality of RT equipment to meet customer needs.
  • Drive key performance indicator achievement through staffing, coaching, and leadership, and develop action plans for performance gaps.
  • Oversee delivery of fresh cooking oil and collection of used cooking oil.
  • Ensure depot-level inventory accuracy by overseeing receiving, shipments, transfers, and verifications for oil routes and installations or services.
  • Oversee implementation of and adherence to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point standards at the depot.
  • Ensure employees are trained on food safety and Food and Drug Administration regulatory requirements and maintain cleanliness for inspection readiness.
  • Analyze depot operating expenses against budgets and financial forecasts and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare, monitor, and report Profit and Loss statements.
Desired Qualifications
  • Route-based service industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading a distribution function is strongly preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is strongly preferred.
