About the job

Requirements
  • Experience building enterprise B2B software, platforms, infrastructure, APIs, or technically complex products.
  • Strong product judgment and ability to remain hands-on by setting strategy, interviewing customers, writing requirements, reviewing workflows, and testing products.
  • Experience personally owning products from discovery through launch and adoption.
  • Strength in customer discovery and uncovering underlying problems rather than simply accepting feature requests.
  • Ability to translate complex business models, workflows, and customer requirements into scalable product systems.
  • Comfort working with technical teams and discussing APIs, data models, integrations, AI systems, infrastructure, and technical trade-offs.
  • Understanding of enterprise product requirements and how they differ from consumer products.
  • Commercial mindset and understanding of how product decisions connect to customer value, adoption, strategic advantage, and business outcomes.
  • Ability to distinguish between solving one customer's problem and building a capability that belongs in the platform.
  • Comfort operating with incomplete information and creating structure in a fast-changing category.
  • Ability to communicate clearly across technical, commercial, customer, and executive audiences.
  • Enjoyment of working in a small startup where product leadership means doing the work personally.
Responsibilities
  • Own product strategy and roadmap across the full Sureel stack, translating company goals, commercial opportunities, customer needs, and technical capabilities into clear priorities.
  • Work with customers and partners, including labels, publishers, PROs/CMOs, artists, AI companies, DSPs, and other industry participants, to understand their workflows, problems, requirements, and priorities firsthand.
  • Lead continuous product discovery, including customer interviews, market research, competitive research, workflow analysis, prototype testing, and structured feedback gathering.
  • Turn commercial and licensing concepts into scalable product capabilities in partnership with Business Development & Licensing.
  • Build enterprise-grade products encompassing administration, permissions, roles, bulk workflows, APIs, integrations, auditability, reporting, configurability, security, reliability, and operational scalability.
  • Define what becomes core platform infrastructure, what should be configurable, what requires an integration, and what should remain a bespoke exception.
  • Write and own product requirements, including product requirement documents, user journeys, workflows, success metrics, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and implementation priorities.
  • Work directly with Engineering and AI teams throughout development to answer product questions, resolve trade-offs, remove ambiguity, test functionality, and ensure shipped products solve the intended problem.
  • Partner with Client Relations to understand onboarding friction, adoption barriers, partner feedback, and opportunities to deepen platform usage.
  • Analyze product usage and partner behavior to identify what is working, where customers struggle, and where additional investment can create value.
  • Drive products through the full lifecycle, from research and concept definition through development, launch, adoption, iteration, and expansion.
  • Establish product discipline and governance, including roadmap reviews, prioritization frameworks, product principles, decision-making processes, and mechanisms for evaluating new requests.
  • Define measurable outcomes for product investments, focusing on adoption, activation, customer value, commercial impact, operational efficiency, technical performance, and strategic importance.
  • Identify patterns across customer requests and market developments, distinguishing individual requests from broader signals that should shape the platform or industry strategy.
  • Ensure product architecture can support emerging industry frameworks and standards so that rights, licensing, permissions, attribution, and reporting can increasingly be executed programmatically.
  • Create clarity across leadership, Engineering, AI, Commercial, Client Relations, and Marketing about what is being built, why it is being built, and how success will be measured.
  • Help shape the future product organization as Sureel grows, including identifying where additional product, design, research, or operational resources are required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience building products in media, music, rights management, licensing, payments, marketplaces, compliance, or creator platforms.
  • Experience with multi-sided platforms or ecosystems involving different stakeholder groups.
  • Experience building products for large enterprises with complex organizational structures and workflows.
  • Experience with AI or machine-learning products, APIs, developer infrastructure, or data-intensive platforms.
  • Experience translating contracts, pricing models, or business rules into product capabilities.
  • Experience as an early product hire or product leader who helped build product practices from scratch.
  • Experience working directly with C-level executives and translating company strategy into product execution.
  • Curiosity about the intersection of AI, technology, intellectual property, and the creative industries.

This statement follows a series of controversies surrounding his music releases. In August 2026, his song Fine Shyt received strong online backlash. He urged social media users to "calm down." He even added he was "guilty as charged of making songs that repeat in your head forever." Another track, Azul, drew fire in 2025. Critics claimed it sexualized schoolgirls and romanticized an inappropriate teacher-student dynamic. Around this time, Randhawa posted cryptic messages on Instagram. Warner Music sues Ray-Ban over use of Taylor Swift, Travis Scott clips.

Warner Music sues Ray-Ban over use of Taylor Swift, Travis Scott clips. Warner Music Group (WMG) has launched a lawsuit against Ray-Ban's parent company. The label asserts that the eyewear company has used hundreds of its works in social media advertisements without paying for the rights. The complaint, obtained by Billboard, accuses Italian eyewear conglomerate EssilorLuxottica of infringing 427 copyrights owned by WMG. The music company is seeking the maximum statutory damages of $150,000 (£114,000) per work, adding up to a total of $64 million (£48.5 million). WMG alleges that EssilorLuxottica, which owns Ray-Ban, Oakley and Sunglasses Hut, regularly uses unlicensed music in ads to its more than 36 million followers across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. These videos have featured recordings by WMG artists including Charli and Dua Lipa, as well as compositions from Drake, Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Travis Scott. According to the lawsuit, the ads have been "wildly successful" in selling sunglasses and have earned the company billions of dollars. "Defendants used the Plaintiffs' copyrighted works to build their brand profiles and drive sales without paying any compensation to Plaintiffs," reads the lawsuit. "Defendants not only failed to pay for the use of Plaintiffs' copyrighted works, but by including these works in the Luxottica videos without Plaintiffs' consent, Defendants deprived Plaintiffs and their artists and songwriters of the ability to control how and where their art is used." Over the past few years, music companies have launched a large-scale legal crackdown on the use of unlicensed tracks by brands on social media. While platforms like Instagram and TikTok have blanket licenses in place that allow individual users to soundtrack their videos, commercial accounts are required to purchase a 'sync licence'. Brands including Chili's, Marriott, and Designer Shoe Warehouse have settled legal cases over this issue.
