Omaze is a for-profit platform that raises funds for non-profit organizations by running prize-draw campaigns. Donors buy entries for chances to win high-value prizes such as multi-million-pound houses, luxury cars, or cash, and a portion of the proceeds goes to charity. The product works by offering video-led campaigns and direct-to-consumer entries; in the UK, Omaze guarantees at least ÂŁ1 million in donations per campaign, with about 17% of total sales allocated to the charity partner while the rest covers prizes, marketing, operations, and profit. Unlike typical charity fundraising, Omaze takes on the financial risk of purchasing prizes upfront and operates as a social-enterprise-like business model, having shifted its focus from celebrity experiences to the Million Pound House Draw and expanding into the UK and Germany. Its goal is to engage a broad audience in philanthropy, generate significant charitable giving, and broaden access to charitable experiences through prize draws.

  • Omaze's 2026 draws funded Eden Project Morecambe, Royal Marsden, and English Heritage.
  • The company raised over ÂŁ250 million worldwide, giving charities and sellers strong social proof.

What critics are saying
