- High school graduation or equivalent education.
- Three years of maintenance experience in an industrial plant setting.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Electrical aptitude.
- Ability to operate in compliance with health, safety, and environmental rules and regulations.
- Ability to comply with corporate and plant policies and procedures.
- Ability to complete required health, safety, and environmental training.
- Perform efficient and cost-effective maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance of equipment, buildings, and facilities at a multi-plant site.
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on equipment associated with operations.
- Install machinery, pipes, structural steel, and related components at a multi-plant operation.
- Fabricate stairways, catwalks, structures, and related components at a multi-plant site.
- Maintain correct stockroom inventory using storeroom withdrawal slips.
- Carry out directions accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in applicable risk-assessment audits.
- Understand Process Quality Principles and how they are implemented in site organization, rules, and procedures.
- Communicate, promote, and personally demonstrate safety and health as the highest priority.
