Responsibilities
Set up, program, and operate Haas computer numerical control milling machines, as well as manual lathes and mills, for production parts.
Monitor machine operations to detect defects and ensure quality standards are met.
Measure workpiece dimensions to verify the accuracy and quality of output.
Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and documentation to determine tooling and material requirements.
Maintain and clean machinery and equipment according to schedule and as needed.
Keep the work area organized and report equipment or process issues to the lead machinist, supervisor, or maintenance department.
Use time efficiently to meet production deadlines and communicate barriers to timely completion.
Perform other assigned duties to support team and production goals.
