Requirements
  • GCSE Mathematics and English at grade C or equivalent (grade 5 or above)
  • Confident with the use of telephones, computers and web-based applications
  • PC literacy is essential
  • Ability to work to tight time schedules and maintain a high level of quality
  • Flexible to cover additional hours around holidays, sickness and peak trends
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Interest in motor vehicles
  • Strong business acumen, customer focus and automotive knowledge
  • Team-oriented but proactive with the ability to work on own initiative
Responsibilities
  • Record data into a bespoke computer application (training provided)
  • Assess warranty claims on original equipment manufacturer systems and liaise with retailers via telephone and e-mail
  • Support kit requests from dealers
  • Ensure all claims are assessed and approved in accordance with manufacturers policies and procedures and provide information and recommendations at all times; claims should be authorised, amended or rejected accordingly
  • Provide remote support for the Retail network on correct claim submission and warranty policy guidance
  • Proactively find all relevant data and identify clearly the reasons for accepting, amending or rejecting claims
  • Administer the necessary documentation to support the warranty claims
  • Accept and attempt to resolve enquiries from Customer Retailers and Customer personnel via a Communications/Systems entry methodology
  • Complete all work to a minimum quality requirement assessed by MSXI and customer management
  • Work in a team of up to nine assessors in an open plan office
  • Ensure data is aligned with all correct processes, technical bulletins and campaigns
