Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in big data architectures, data warehouse, infrastructure components, ETL, data modeling.
  • Proven experience in leading global team with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
  • Big data technologies/services expertise (Delta Lake, Lakehouse, Medallion, Spark, Python, Kinesis, S3, Glue, EMR, Airflow, Step Functions, Redshift, Athena, Lambda, ML) AWS preferred.
  • Proficiency in managing visualizations, reports, dashboards, scorecards using Power BI.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to perform detailed data analysis.
  • Knowledge of any of the following would be valuable: Master Data Management, DAX.
  • Prior working experience in Telecom (Billing and/or CRM) and Supply Chain systems.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Lead the design of solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and data accuracy.
  • Supervise the technical implementation of data pipelines and oversee hardware/software configuration.
  • Develop applications, dashboards, and reports using technologies like python, spark, SQL, data warehouses, and visualization tools.
  • Ensure the development and documentation of business and technical metadata.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain test strategies and plan.
  • Translate project requirements into functional and non-functional specifications for reports and applications.
  • Establish and maintain data governance standards to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure completeness and compatibility of the technical infrastructure to support system performance, availability, and architecture requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, project leads and business users to identify requirements, conduct analysis, propose solutions and deliver actionable insights to various business units.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize solutions for performance and user experience.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data and analytics to suggest and implement improvements.
  • Sell and evangelize the value of data, analytics, and sound data management to executive sponsors of the program, business users, and IT Managers.
  • Provide support and expertise to the business community at Likewize to assist with better utilization of Business Intelligence tools and IT solutions for competitive advantage measures.
