Job Description

We offer a merit-based work from home program based on job responsibilities. After initial training in-person, you could have the flexibility of work from home time as defined by the leadership team.

Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an entry level PIP Claims Representative in MN PIP Claims. The position requires the person to:

• Investigate and assemble facts, determine policy coverage, evaluate the amount of loss, and pay benefits that are owed.
• Review medical bills, authorize payments and ensure payments are issued in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with the Minnesota No-Fault Statute.
• Administer benefits payable under the Minnesota No-Fault Statute,
• Work toward the resolution of claims, and attend arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials as necessary.
• Service the needs of agents, policyholders and others. 
• Handle investigations by phone and mail.
• Conduct claim investigations on complex claims.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Above average communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to resolve complex issues
• Organize and interpret data
• Ability to handle multiple assignments
• Detailed oriented

Compensation

Auto-Owners offers a generous compensation package. For this position, the anticipated annualized starting base pay range is $60,000.00 - $81,500.00. Other components of the compensation package include benefit dollars used to purchase certain benefits and several bonus opportunities.
