Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of performance marketing experience managing Paid Search specifically
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience managing SEM teams
  • Expertise with AdWords/Google Ads and Google Analytics
  • An analytical and data-driven background, with a proven ability to extract valuable insights and narratives from large sets of data
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills--you are at ease describing complex strategies and approaches to various audiences within an organization, from the C-Suite to entry-level analysts
  • Strong data analysis toolbox, including experience with Excel, SQL, and Looker (or other BI tools)
Responsibilities
  • Use analytical tools and data-driven methodologies to evaluate the performance of our SEM program and develop/execute strategic recommendations
  • Optimize our bids/bid strategies to maximize ROAS AND market share
  • Develop & execute experiments & A/B tests that evolve our bidding, copy, and landing page strategies
  • Own strategic pillars on SEM e.g. event types, audiences/personalization, copy strategy etc.
  • Manage and help grow SEM Analysts, providing strategic direction and coaching
  • Use a rigorous analytical approach to evaluate the performance of our SEM program and make strategic decisions
  • Steer relationships with external advertising and measurement partners like Google and Microsoft
  • Collaborate with internal Analytics and Data Science teams to power data and insight-driven optimization and machine-learning bidding strategies
  • Collaborate with internal Product and Engineering teams to tune the purchase path for growth and build tools to streamline/enrich workflow processes
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align our marketing strategies with enterprise-wide initiatives
