- A minimum of three years of maintenance experience in industrial control system development and troubleshooting is required.
- Proven experience with Allen Bradley programmable logic controllers is required.
- Proven experience with Wonderware, Rockwell, ControlNet, and DeviceNet human-machine interface or supervisory control and data acquisition software packages is required.
- Strong programmable logic controller skills, including system administration, maintenance activities, and hardware and software troubleshooting, are required.
- Experience programming in multiple languages compliant with IEC 61131-3, such as RSLogix 5000, is required.
- An associate degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Technology, or related military service training programs, is required.
- Provide day-to-day technical support for process control systems and related tasks.
- Support new project implementation by configuring control modules, batch programs, and human-machine interface graphics.
- Improve process control systems through Advanced Process Control, Alarm Management, and Operator Interface Optimization.
- Integrate programmable logic controllers, human-machine interfaces, variable frequency drives, and process controls with computer systems.
- Train end users on newly installed or modified process and control systems.
- Perform routine and specialized repair and maintenance of instruments and controls used to process materials from a raw state to a customer-ready state.
- Work with a team to plan, analyze, and control process quality.
- Provide technical training to lower-level personnel.
- Manage daily operations when the Maintenance Manager or supervisor is absent.
- Inspect, repair, and adjust programmable logic controllers, human-machine interfaces, and related equipment using electrical test equipment, circuit diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
- Arrange repairs and replacement of malfunctioning instruments and control systems, continuously monitor operations, and promptly correct malfunctions.
- Maintain and update all process control servers.
- Maintain and update all network systems.
- Maintain and update interfaces between process control, business systems, and other network systems, including Tetra Plant Master.
- Participate as a member of the Food Safety Team and Food Quality Team.
- Additional professional training.
- Additional experience with machinery repair and control systems.
- Additional training as an industrial electrician.
