About the job
- Deep knowledge of open-source technologies for distributed data processing, big-data analysis, and extract, transform, load processing, including Apache Hadoop, MapReduce, Pig, Spark, Databricks, and Hive.
- Deep knowledge of open-source technologies for fast, interactive SQL queries at scale over structured or unstructured big-data sets, including Apache Hive LLAP, Spark SQL, and Phoenix.
- Deep knowledge of open-source technologies for ingesting and processing millions of streaming events per second, including Apache Kafka, Apache Storm, Apache Spark, and Apache HBase.
- Deep knowledge of performance analysis, optimization, and operation of Apache Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, and related technologies.
- Deep knowledge of open-source machine-learning technologies, including MLib.
- Strong expertise in extract, transform, load and extract, load, transform approaches, including Azure Data Factory and SQL Server Integration Services.
- Software development skills in Java, Spark Scala, PySpark, and Python.
- Functional skills in design, hosted services deployment, IoT application management, MaaS assessment services, mobile application custom development, mobile application database connectivity, mobile application offline architecture, open-source container orchestration, relational database architecture for cloud applications, search design and architecture, serverless computing, unstructured data storage architecture, Xamarin cross-platform development, web application API management, web application development, and web application security.
- Must be a United States citizen.
