Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent job-related experience.
  • 3 years of object-oriented programming experience in Objective-C or Swift
  • UI programming experience in UIKit or SwiftUI
  • Creativity and passion for design
  • Comfortable with a large code base, dynamic working environments, and tight schedules
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills
  • Experience developing multi-threaded and/or multi-process systems using IPC is beneficial
  • Experience developing software with any of the following frameworks is a plus: CarPlay, CoreLocation, CoreMedia, MediaPlayer
Responsibilities
  • implementing features built in to the operating system that power in-car features such as CarPlay
  • the design and implementation itself in both system apps and supporting frameworks
  • working closely with our design team crafting the user experiences our users depend on on a daily basis
  • deep dive into our code base, optimizing the size and performance of applications and frameworks
  • drive the quality high by fixing bugs
  • interact with the brightest minds in the industry and tackle some of the most demanding problems
