  • The candidate must be at least 21 years old due to interstate travel in a commercial vehicle and federal regulations.
  • The candidate must have at least 5 years of commercial driving experience, including tanker experience.
  • The candidate must hold a Commercial Driver’s License Class A with tanker endorsements or the required site-specific equipment qualification.
  • The candidate must have a Hazardous Materials endorsement.
  • The candidate must be able to interpret maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions.
  • The candidate must have an acceptable driving record.
  • The candidate must be able to walk, stand, sit, and climb for long periods of time.
  • The candidate must be able to grab, grip, reach, push, pull, and lift or carry 50 pounds.
  • The candidate must be able to work from heights and in confined spaces.
  • The candidate must consistently work in various weather conditions.
  • The candidate must meet the visual and hearing demands of the role.
Responsibilities
  • Drive commercial vehicles to safely transport goods and materials over long distances according to established safety procedures and Department of Transportation regulations while meeting scheduled appointments.
  • Drive trucks and operate specialized pump equipment on vehicles to load, unload, or disperse cargo or materials.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
  • Complete administrative tasks and paperwork related to the transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous materials and vehicle or equipment maintenance, including manifests, bills of lading, medical waste tracking, logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspections, and incident reports.
  • Ensure vehicle placarding meets Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Maintain clear communication with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers regarding instructions, delivery status, and potential delays.
  • Be responsible for the safety of fellow employees, clients, and the public while operating company vehicles or performing company activities.
  • Interpret maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions.
  • Mentor and train other drivers as needed.
  • Complete additional assigned duties.

  • A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

EPA study validates Reworld® facility destroys 99% of PFAS 'forever chemicals' in waste

Reworld has released results from a US Environmental Protection Agency study conducted at its Lake County Thermomechanical Treatment Facility in Florida, validating the effectiveness of PFAS destruction. The study, carried out in spring 2024, showed the facility's process destroyed up to 99% of a conservative surrogate compound harder to eliminate than other PFAS. The findings support Reworld's recently launched ReAssure PFAS Destruction service, which offers approximately 17 million tonnes of processing capacity through facilities operating above 1,100°C. The service includes access to over 50 material processing facilities, wastewater treatment, and logistics coordination. PFAS contamination stems from thousands of everyday products including carpets, textiles, and packaging that end up in municipal solid waste streams.

Reworld, a sustainable waste solutions provider, has published its 2026 Sustainability Report detailing operational achievements across its North American platform. The company operates over 90 waste facilities and represents 70% of total thermomechanical treatment facility capacity in the US. The report highlights Reworld's launch of ReAssure PFAS Destruction, an end-to-end solution processing waste at temperatures above 1,100°C with demonstrated 99% PFAS destruction rates.
