Have at least two years of experience in the electrical trade.
Have experience working with voltages up to 480 volts.
Have experience installing and maintaining wiring, control, lighting, and power systems.
Be familiar with electrical construction practices, including threading, bending conduit, and pulling or removing wire.
Be able to obtain and maintain a DCJS Registration.
Be able to perform standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day, and frequently lift and move items over 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain raceways, wiring, and equipment for electrical systems, access controls, intrusion detection, and other systems.
Inspect, test, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, lighting, signal, communications, and power circuits.
Identify, communicate, and isolate electrical hazards.
Perform all work in accordance with safety procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary
Elite Contracting Group is looking for a Journeyman Electrician in our VA Beach, VA location to join one of Virginia's fastest-growing full-service security solution integration companies. The ideal candidate will primarily work on electrical, technology installations, CCTV, and access control installations in various environments throughout Virginia.
Responsibilities and Duties
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain raceways, wiring, and equipment for electrical systems, access controls, intrusion detection, and other systems.
Inspects, tests, and performs preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment, lighting, signal, communications, and power circuits
Ability to identify, communicate, and isolate electrical hazard
Performs all work following safety procedures; Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
Current Journeyman Electrician license
Minimum two years experience in the electrical trade

Anticipated Hiring Range: $25 - $30 per hour with guaranteed hours, including overtime.
