Perpay is located in Center City, Philadelphia in a new, open floor plan, river-front office. A coffee bar sits at the heart of the office with espresso, drip coffee, cold brew and tea options. The rest of the office has comfortable, open seating including: sitting desks, standing desks, couches, lounge chairs, and kitchen booths & tables. About the Role:
As a business Ecommerce intern at Perpay, your main responsibility is to learn! We understand the value of mentorship and offer students an opportunity to gain real work experience before graduation. We’re looking for a student who’s interested in e-commerce/ digital commerce and looking to explore three of its main components: vendor management, visual merchandising, and supply chain. In the 10-12 weeks we’ll be together, you will be expected to support our team and their daily operations by working alongside them. Some tasks could include assisting with customer orders, SKU creation, on-site search reporting, price reporting, analyses, and other special research projects.
In addition to working on projects of real impact, you will have the ability to meet with various business owners to drive personal and professional development and expand your network. All while developing the skills to succeed in a fast-paced tech start-up environment and experiencing and contributing to our unique culture.

What You’ll Bring:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program, with the expected graduation date of Dec 2023 or May 2024
- Experience with Excel
- Interest in e-commerce: merchandising, and/or supply chain
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Drive: someone who has the desire to continuously grow and develop
- Attention to detail: you are organized, attentive, and focused
- Positivity: you are optimistic, collaborative, and confident
- Resiliency: you embrace and thrive on change, easily adapting to shifting priorities
- Previous retail experience is a plus
