Registration Intern

David Zwirner, Los Angeles, seeks a Registration Intern for Spring 2025.

Interns should be curious with a willingness to learn, as well as highly personable, motivated, and responsible, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

The candidate will work closely with and learn from the gallery’s registrar, who manages and tracks the movement of all art and equipment for the gallery. This position requires professionalism, curiosity, flexibility, and dedication.

Primary areas of focus will include, but are not limited to:

• Working closely with the Gallery’s registrar
• Assisting with updating the gallery’s internal database
• Assisting with management of artwork movement within the gallery
• Assisting with updating artwork information
• Assisting with data entry and data review projects
• Upon request, assisting with the assembly of materials for exhibitions, including preparing models and printed materials
• Supporting the gallery’s registration efforts for installation and de-installation of gallery exhibitions and viewing rooms
• Special projects as requested

Qualified candidates will possess:

• An interest in contemporary art and the gallery’s program.
• A willingness to learn about the contemporary art market.
• An interest in gallery logistics and getting a chance to work “behind the scenes”
• The ability to work well with a team.

The position’s hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM, for a period of 4 to 5 months.

All interns are paid LA minimum wage of $17.28/hour.
