Early Intervention Team Leader
About the job
- A bachelor's or master's degree related to early childhood development, pediatric therapy, or mental health is required.
- Three years of pediatric experience is required.
- DPH Early Intervention Specialist Certification - Provisional is required.
- A current Massachusetts license and malpractice insurance are required, if applicable.
- Provide at least 15 direct service hours per week.
- Participate in weekly management meetings and program oversight.
- Provide individual supervision to staff, including in-field supervision.
- Meet monthly with the Program Director for supervision and program oversight.
- Participate in probationary and annual performance evaluations.
- Provide training and support to staff on the Early Intervention Client System (EICS).
- Ensure staff coverage for groups, evaluations, and IFSP meetings.
- Manage child group enrollment, attendance, and curriculum development.
- Manage caseload reassignment when needed.
- Assist the Program Director in developing and implementing program practices for intake, evaluation, group, and transition/discharge.
- Assist the Program Director with case assignment.
- Track and monitor staff productivity.
- Manage EICS errors weekly.
- Address family concerns and issues.
- Facilitate team meetings.
- Provide oversight for transitions.
- Provide oversight to SSPs.
- Perform other tasks and responsibilities at the discretion of the Program Director.
- Early Intervention experience is preferred.
