Requirements
  • A university degree in hotel management, sports science, wellness, public health, or a related field is required.
  • At least five years of experience managing or supervising a spa is required.
  • Experience in a luxury hotel environment, including budgeting and financial forecasting, is required.
  • Knowledge of preventive wellness principles and the pillars of a healthy lifestyle, including movement, recovery, sleep, nutrition, and stress management, is required.

Responsibilities
  • Define and implement the establishment's Spa, Wellness, and Longevity strategy.
  • Lead the multidisciplinary team of therapists, coaches, and wellness professionals.
  • Manage daily spa and fitness operations, strategic and commercial direction, marketing and social activities, customer experience, and team motivation.
  • Proactively manage the spa profit and loss statement to maximize commercial opportunities.
  • Establish effective internal audit processes.
  • Follow the spa's operational policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Represent the brand's wellness values to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and evolve longevity-focused programs and experiences aligned with the brand and client expectations.
  • Identify international trends in longevity, preventive wellness, and sustainable performance.
  • Coordinate specialized partners, including coaches and external scientific or medical experts when needed.
  • Ensure communications about longevity programs comply with applicable regulations.
  • Promote employee wellness and related programs with the talent and culture teams.
  • Manage wellness-facility operations and efficiency.
  • Maintain effective communication with employees, new arrivals, other departments, and corporate teams.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of competitors, including locations, offerings, pricing, promotions, and sales techniques.
  • Participate in departmental spa budgets and financial analyses.
  • Provide monthly budgets and forecasts when requested.
  • Stay within the allocated budget while maximizing profitability.
  • Implement systems to track internal inventories and report discrepancies.
  • Validate payroll hours and hotel-managed service-charge and tip reports.
  • Generate and review daily and monthly facility and productivity reports, including schedule tracking.
  • Review and approve purchase requests and invoices before transactions, and control the costs of purchased goods, services, and labor.
  • Maintain warranties and service contracts for equipment, collaborate with engineering on malfunctions, and initiate repairs.
  • Submit monthly reports through the spa performance-tracking tool to property and corporate teams.
  • Report spa maintenance needs.
  • Help position the establishment as a Wellness and Longevity destination.
  • Lead a 12-month strategic and marketing plan covering social media, digital channels, events, and new commercial opportunities.
  • Create pricing grids for treatments and retail products suited to the local market and hotel rates.
  • Ensure marketing materials and communications comply with brand guidelines.
  • Create wellness events, retreats, and workshops promoting brand- and property-specific wellness concepts.
  • Define annual KPI targets aligned with expected revenue.
  • Follow Accor revenue-management guidelines for the spa and wellness operations.
  • Participate in weekly revPRO meetings to identify commercial opportunities within the hotel and local community.
  • Apply revenue management to maximize daily targets.
  • Establish pricing in accordance with Accor revenue-management recommendations.
  • Assist management with distributing the monthly profit and loss statement.
  • Accommodate client and member preferences and special requests where possible.
  • Conduct regular audits of treatments and facilities to maintain brand standards.
  • Remain present in daily operations and conduct daily quality visits to supervise the client and employee experience.
  • Provide teams with tools needed to manage daily operations and deliver proactive, high-quality customer service.
  • Hold regular employee communications and departmental meetings covering updates, motivation, and recognition.
  • Participate in executive committee morning briefings about spa, fitness, and leisure activities.
  • Maintain effective internal relationships with other departments.
  • Organize onboarding for new Accor employees and cross-training across relevant positions and tasks.
  • Participate in recruiting, development, training, and recognition programs for department heads and employees.
  • Complete scheduled performance evaluations for assigned employees in accordance with Accor's annual cycles, including disciplinary measures when necessary.
  • Understand and comply with the Accor Code of Ethics.
  • Follow and enforce establishment safety procedures and practices.
  • Ensure Wellness and Longevity experiences and programs follow safety protocols, contraindications, and brand standards.
  • Maintain facilities in a clean and hygienic condition.
  • Prioritize client and member safety and service.
  • Participate in developing and enforcing departmental emergency procedures.
  • Immediately report and correct potential or actual hazards.
  • Ensure the safety of people and property by applying hotel rules fairly and complying with the law.
  • Manage emergency situations promptly and discreetly.
