About the Job

Requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience delivering fraud technology programs.
  • Hands-on delivery experience with banking fraud domains including lending, deposits, origination, servicing, cards, payments or digital banking platforms; production banking implementations, platform migrations, system integrations, major releases, cutovers or modernization programs; agile delivery at scale, sprint execution, backlog management, release planning, dependency management and delivery governance; integration, APIs, batch/file processing, data migration, reconciliation, test data, environment readiness and defect triage; vendor-led delivery or systems integrator environments; and banking delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong architecture and technology fluency to challenge plans, identify gaps, pressure-test feasibility and translate design into executable delivery.
  • Ability to bridge business, technology, operations, risk, compliance, vendors and executive stakeholders while keeping delivery outcomes central.
  • Ability to operate in high-pressure delivery environments with compressed timelines, ambiguous scope, multiple vendors, senior visibility and meaningful production impact.
  • 7–12+ years of fraud technology delivery experience, including at least 3 years leading complex fraud technology delivery workstreams or programs.
  • Experience owning end-to-end delivery across design, build, test, integration, data, release, cutover, go-live and hypercare, rather than only supporting status reporting or governance.
  • Strong track record driving workstreams to measurable outcomes in banking environments, including stakeholder, dependency and vendor management and production readiness.
  • Deep knowledge of banking fraud.
  • Experience contributing to business development and engagement management through delivery shaping, staffing assumptions, risk identification and execution plans.
  • Ability to bridge architecture, engineering, testing, business operations and executive expectations while retaining ownership of the plan.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, including creating order in ambiguity, driving decisions, recovering slipping workstreams and maintaining momentum under pressure.
  • Stakeholder management skills to challenge, escalate, simplify, align and secure decisions when delivery is at risk.
  • Commitment to high-performing delivery teams, continuous improvement, execution discipline and practical innovation that improves delivery speed, quality, transparency or control.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of fraud technology workstreams, with accountability for execution outcomes, milestones, risks, dependencies, quality and production readiness.
  • Drive execution across fraud platform initiatives involving lending, deposits, origination, servicing, payments, cards, digital banking, integration, data migration, testing automation, vendor delivery and production implementation.
  • Coordinate product, engineering, architecture, testing, data, operations, vendor and client teams, holding them to deliverables, decision dates, defect closure, readiness criteria and release outcomes.
  • Identify and resolve delivery blockers across functional, technical, integration, data, testing, vendor and operational readiness dimensions, providing options and decision paths.
  • Run delivery cadences including daily execution huddles, sprint and release planning, dependency reviews, RAID management, defect triage, go/no-go readiness, executive escalation and recovery planning.
  • Translate ambiguous client direction into executable delivery plans, sequencing, ownership, decision points, deliverables and measurable progress.
  • Review plans, understand integration dependencies, challenge estimates, validate status and ensure delivery progress is evidence-based.
  • Apply architecture, integration and data understanding to challenge whether solution designs are executable, testable, operable and aligned to delivery timelines.
  • Ensure solution decisions are delivery-ready, sequenced, dependency-managed, testable, supportable and implementable in a controlled banking environment.
  • Drive architecture and design reviews toward decisions, trade-offs and delivery actions.
  • Partner with architects, engineers and business owners to turn target-state direction into delivery slices, MVP scope, interim states, migration paths, release plans and operational transition plans.
  • Use practical understanding of APIs, batch/file integrations, data migration, test data, environments, identity/access, operational controls, resiliency, reconciliation and regulatory expectations in banking.
  • Act as a trusted delivery lead to client executives and program leaders, translating business priorities into technology outcomes and surfacing execution risks early.
  • Lead decision-oriented working sessions to clarify scope, ownership, dependencies, trade-offs, readiness gaps and next actions.
  • Communicate progress, blockers, risks, recommendations and recovery actions through evidence-based status reporting and practical next steps.
  • Challenge unrealistic timelines, unclear scope, weak ownership, untested assumptions and vendor commitments that create go-live risk.
  • Support proposals, RFP responses and solution design with delivery assumptions, staffing models, risks, dependencies, implementation paths and go-live considerations.
  • Contribute practical delivery playbooks, reusable plans, readiness checklists, risk patterns, cutover and testing approaches, and lessons learned from banking implementations.
  • Bring practical insight to fraud technology delivery, including vendor-led implementation, agile-at-scale, systems integration, data migration, testing automation, production readiness and operational stabilization.
  • Lead onshore, nearshore, offshore, client and vendor team members with clear expectations, outcome ownership and timely intervention when delivery is at risk.
  • Create a high-accountability delivery culture in which teams surface issues early, solve problems directly and focus on measurable progress.
  • Coach teams on execution discipline, release readiness, client communication, defect management, dependency management and delivery leadership under pressure.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with agile delivery, DevOps, release management and modern delivery models where agile ceremonies are tied to delivery outcomes.
  • Experience in large-scale fraud transformation programs involving multiple vendors, system integrators, internal technology teams, business owners, risk/compliance stakeholders and production readiness gates.
