FIS launches agentic AI suite to help CFOs forecast cash flow and spot risk earlier

FIS has launched FIS Agentic Insights Suite, an agentic AI tool that helps chief financial officers manage collections, liquidity, risk, and cash flow from a single view. The Jacksonville, Florida company announced the product on October 12, 2026. A new cash flow forecasting module uses machine learning and simulations to project cash across configurable time horizons. It tests how delayed inflows or faster outflows would affect liquidity. The suite combines a company's own data from ERP, treasury, and CRM systems with external credit bureau and public data. It scores accounts in real time and recommends next steps. FIS says the suite deploys in weeks and connects to its receivables and treasury products. Future releases will add payment anomaly detection and dispute forecasting. A Deloitte survey found 46% of global finance leaders see working capital optimisation as a top area for agentic AI, while 14% had fully integrated AI agents.

FIS Launches Agentic AI Suite for the Office of the CFO.

FIS Launches Agentic AI Suite for the Office of the CFO. FIS has launched an agentic AI suite for the office of the CFO, deploying autonomous AI agents across collections, liquidity, risk and cash flow management. What happened. FIS has launched an agentic AI suite built for the office of the CFO, aimed at helping finance leaders manage collections, liquidity, risk and cash flow. The banking technology vendor's new offering applies autonomous AI agents to core treasury and finance workflows rather than the customer-facing functions that have dominated most agentic AI launches to date. The suite is positioned to sit across multiple finance operations simultaneously, suggesting FIS is targeting the connective tissue between previously siloed functions - cash positioning, risk monitoring and collections - rather than offering a single point solution. Why it matters. This launch signals a maturing of agentic AI beyond chatbots and front-line service automation into back-office financial decision-making, a domain where errors carry direct balance-sheet consequences. For banks and corporates, it points to AI agents increasingly taking on monitoring and judgement tasks - flagging liquidity risk, chasing collections, modelling cash flow scenarios - that previously required teams of analysts working across disconnected systems. For technology and transformation leaders, the move illustrates how enterprise software vendors are repackaging AI capability around specific executive functions (the CFO, rather than "finance" broadly), which may accelerate adoption by giving agentic AI a clear organisational owner and budget line. The renascence take. Agentic AI aimed at the CFO's desk is a useful test of whether autonomous systems can be trusted with judgement, not just execution - and that trust will be won or lost on explainability, not accuracy alone. Most coverage of agentic AI fixates on what the agents can do; the harder question is what CFOs will actually let them decide unsupervised. Liquidity and risk calls carry reputational and regulatory weight that a missed customer query does not, so the real design challenge here is behavioral: building enough transparency into each agent's reasoning that finance leaders feel ownership of the outcome, not just oversight of the output. Vendors who treat this as a trust-and-adoption problem, not a pure automation one, will win the office of the CFO faster than those who simply ship more capable agents. NovelVox achieves Five9 Select ISV Partner status to accelerate CX transformation in banking, credit unions, and healthcare.

NovelVox achieves Five9 Select ISV Partner status to accelerate CX transformation in banking, credit unions, and healthcare. Oct 07, 2026, 09:00 ET Industry-ready integrations with Jack Henry, Fiserv, FIS, Corelation KeyStone, Oracle Health, and other core platforms help Five9 customers connect agent and AI-powered customer experiences with critical systems of record ROSWELL, Ga., Oct. 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - NovelVox, the execution layer for AI and unified agent experiences in regulated industries, today announced that it has achieved Select ISV Partner status with Five9 (NASDAQ: FIVN), provider of the Intelligent CX Platform. The elevated designation builds on NovelVox's existing Accreditation as a Five9 ISV partner and establishes a formal reseller relationship between the two companies, enabling a direct offer of NovelVox's Agent Accelerator solutions for banking, credit unions, and healthcare verticals, along with its Contact Center Integration Platform (CCIP), to joint customers. The milestone gives Five9 customers a streamlined, validated path to connect the Five9 Intelligent CX Platform with the core systems and workflows that power their industry operations. For Five9 customers, NovelVox brings ready integrations with platforms, including Jack Henry, Fiserv, FIS, Corelation KeyStone, and Oracle Health. These integrations make it easier to connect the contact center with systems of record and accelerate the deployment of industry-specific customer service, sales, and self-service workflows. For agents, NovelVox Agent Accelerator connects the Five9 experience directly into core systems of record, bringing customer, member, patient, and interaction context into a single view. Instead of switching between multiple applications to find information or complete routine actions, agents can execute workflows directly from a single view, improving productivity and creating more seamless customer interactions. NovelVox CCIP extends that same connectivity beyond the agent desktop into IVR, AI, and self-service experiences. Rather than simply answering questions, organizations can enable governed actions such as retrieving information, validating customer details, supporting transactions, and completing service workflows. The result is greater continuity across the customer journey. When an interaction moves from self-service to a live agent, the captured context moves with it, so customers don't repeat themselves and agents start with a clearer picture of what's already happened. "The next phase of customer experience is not simply about adding AI to the contact center - it is about connecting both AI and human interactions with the systems where customer work actually gets done," said Amit Gandhi, CEO of NovelVox. "Together, Five9 and NovelVox can help banking, credit union, and healthcare organizations bring that execution layer into their customer journeys. With industry-ready integrations and unified workflows, organizations can move faster while delivering more connected experiences across both agents and self-service." "Five9 gives banking, credit union, and healthcare organizations an AI-powered platform built for the contact center, and NovelVox brings the industry-ready integrations that connect it to the core systems where customer work actually happens," said Meg Higgins, SVP of Business Development at Five9. "That combination is especially powerful for regulated industries, where NovelVox's integrations with core banking and healthcare systems help agents resolve requests faster, reduce compliance risk, and give customers a more connected experience across both live and self-service channels." About NovelVox NovelVox is the execution layer for AI and unified agent experiences, helping enterprises connect customer interactions with the systems, workflows, and actions required to complete them. With more than 17 years of experience, 250+ customers, and 1,000+ installations, NovelVox supports organizations across healthcare, financial services, insurance, automotive, and other workflow-intensive industries through solutions designed to improve agent productivity, enable governed AI execution, and deliver connected customer experiences. FIS sees smarter payments powering AI agents.

FIS sees smarter payments powering AI agents. FIS is developing 'transaction intelligence' to allow AI agents to navigate payments and financing options for consumers. Curated by Financing Your Way from original reporting by PYMNTS. Summary is AI-assisted and editorially reviewed - see its editorial standards. Artificial intelligence is moving beyond simple chatbots and into the world of autonomous transactions. FIS is focusing on 'transaction intelligence' to enable AI agents to handle payments on behalf of consumers. For retailers, this represents a shift from a customer manually clicking 'buy' to an automated system navigating the checkout flow based on pre-set preferences. This technology aims to reduce friction by predicting how a customer wants to pay, whether that is via credit, debit, or a Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) plan. The goal is to create a 'smarter' payment flow that recognizes the context of a purchase. For example, an AI agent could analyze a user's financial health in real-time to suggest the most cost-effective financing option at the point of sale. This could lead to higher conversion rates for high-ticket items, as the AI handles the complexity of applying for credit or selecting the right installment plan. Operators should prepare for a future where their checkout systems must communicate not just with human shoppers, but with digital assistants authorized to spend money. Who else is covering this
